Hollis Hills Queens, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Hollis Hills is a sub-section of Queens Village, a neighborhood belonging to the New York City borough of Queens. Is an affluent, upper-class residential community, bounded by Springfield Boulevard, and the Grand Central Parkway. As a sub-neighborhood of Queens Village, it belongs to the Queens Community Board 13 along with Meadowmere, Brookville, Glen Oaks, Floral Park, Laurelton, Bellerose, and Rosedale. The ZIP Codes are 11427, 11428, 11429, and 11411. The police officers of the 105th Precinct of the New York City Police Department are in charge of patrolling the community. The 23rd District of the NYC Council politically represents the community.

Hollis Hills stands somewhat above sea level, as it sits in what remained from a glacier from the ice age. The town is home to the famous Potomogeton Pond, a small pond north of the Grand Central Parkway. The housing stock is a quaint, and colorful combination of Ranch, Colonial, and Tudor-style homes, which attracts mostly upper-class residents. Houses go for $1.5 Million or more in Hollis Hill. Much like nearby Douglaston, this neighborhood has a suburban atmosphere, with tree-lined streets, and detached homes. The community is famously known for being the home to one of New York City’s top-rated public school, P.S. 188.

Union Turnpike is the town’s main commercial hub, with a few stores and restaurants. There are six houses of worship and no parks within town limits. Since most residents own a vehicle, the commute to the city is fairly easy. However, for those relying on Public Transportation, there are two express bus lines from and to Midtown Manhattan.
